The Africa Clean Energy Technical Assistance Facility (ACE TAF) is a 4-year programme which started in November 2018 and aims to catalyse a market-based approach for private sector delivery of renewable energy electrification technologies, with a focus on high-quality stand-alone solar (SAS) systems. The programme is funded by the UK Government Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and implemented by Tetra Tech International Development, in partnership with Open Capital Advisors (OCA), GOGLA, the World Resource Institute (WRI), and Solar Sisters. ACE TAF worked in 14 African Countries and is committed to improving access to energy for all, especially vulnerable communities. This podcast covers discussions on making solar solutions affordable.
