Making a Scene Presents an Interview with Ahad Farooqui of GutBustOriginating in 2016 as a power violence/beatdown duo: Guitarist Ahad Farooqui and Drummer Jack White came together in their early mid-Teens to create what became GutBust. After one year of creative endeavors and one demo release, GutBust disbanded in Early January 2017 due to both members choosing to go in separate musical directions. Ultimately, they regrouped in March 2023 as a beatdown/hardcore project with the addition of Josiah Garcia completing the overall Sound dynamic.
