In this week's episode we are going to talk about what to do this fall and one of the best festivals in Maine, the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival and Regatta. Every year Damariscotta holds an amazing festival where they have fantastic activities including the Pumpkin Boat Regatta when competitors hollow out giant pumpkins and race them in the harbor. They also have various jack o'lanterns and decorated pumpkins lining the downtown streets, as well as vendors, amazing food, and other attractions to see! They hold a pumpkin derby for kids and adults, pie eating contests, and the infamous pumpkin drop! There is also a pumpkin parade, pumpkin catapult, pumpkin slingshots, and even more! This really is a fantastic event that everyone should check out!
