We dedicate this hour to helping others in the community. Cathy Speirs with Kickin' It With The Cows. This 10K/5K Run/Walk is devoted to bringing communities together to give hope and support to children and families facing extreme medical challenges, specifically raising money for St. Jude Hospital for Children. The event is coming up later in the summer, but the organization is looking for sponsors and volunteers right now! Then Denise Charlier and Aaron Schuh with the Brown County Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Wisconsin join Jim and John to fill us in on the Brown County Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind in Wisconsin. Denise and Aaron have very different stories on how they lost their sight, but they both agree that we need more understanding and services for blind people in our area.
