While in the throws of mourning the death of her elderly father, joining her brother’s winter trek into the deep woods of Maine was the only thing that seemed to make sense. Together, brother and sister head up the tallest mountain in Maine, at the end of the Appalachian Trail, to “say hi to Dad” above the clouds.
