Born and raised in Barinas-Venezuela, Luquez began his DJ career at the early age of 16. Inspired by the music itself and its effect on people, he worked his way through to master the art of creating an atmosphere where people could enjoy his music and connect with each other. “The energy I get from the audience every time I play a sound is a unique connection that drives me to work as hard as I can to support and help grow the underground electronic music culture wherever I am”.

As one of the founders of the Techno/House scene in his hometown, he became a reference for the Latin techno community not only in Venezuela but also in other countries in Latin America.

He has shared the stage with renowned international DJs such as Shahar (Israel), Motum (Israel), Tony Guerra (Venezuela), Jean Pierre (USA), Daniel Orpi (Spain), Vanjee (Israel), Harvy Valencia (Colombia), Patrick Groove (USA), Fronter (Colombia), ItaloBros (Italy), Neverdogs (Italy), Carlo Lio (Canada), Boris (USA), Victor Calderone (USA), Oscar G (USA), Pablo Ceballos (Spain), Nicole Moudaber (Lebanon) and more.

“My sets are energy driven, I want to see everybody dancing and having a good time, there’s no one standing still while I’m performing” His sets offer an impeccable selection of harmonic techno and house sounds fused with his own Latin music roots establishing a distinctive sound which has given him international recognition.

He is currently based in Brooklyn, NY, and is becoming a familiar face to the best underground techno/house parties throughout the city.

Influenced by great names in the underground techno/house scene such as Solomun, Keinemusik, and Apollonia, Luquez offers a presence characterized by his humility, positive attitude, and his eagerness to offer you the perfect harmony and melody to enjoy any party.
