Storytellers are shamans--at least they should be. The mythic role of the writer is all but forgotten in our world of ready-made "content," and it's time we remember the importance of this vocation. This video essay argues that the Hero's Journey as developed by Joseph Campbell via Carl Jung is the same thing as the Tarot. By reference to the Ra Material, aka the Law of One, I develop a modular writing system that allows writers to confer with their muses while providing a familiar structure.
