Denzel Washington as a disgraced cop with a shot at redemption. Russell Crowe as the perfect virtual psychopath birthed from some kind of geiger-esque alien egg. Leather cop suits with matching hats. Mechanical arms. Mid murder impromptu musical performance. This movie has a little bit of everything. It's reverse terminator, reverse matrix, reverse lawnmower man, maybe even a Jurassic Park reference. If it isn't already abundantly clear this movie is pretty wild, but we love it all the more for it. Even though some of us were unaware it even existed in the first place.
