The Cincinnati Reds swept a Saturday doubleheader against the Arizona Diamondbacks, highlighted by strong performances on both sides of the ball. Christian Encarnacion-Strand delivered the Reds’ first walk-off hit of the season in the conclusion of Friday night's rain-delayed game, then sparked the offense in Game 2 with a three-run homer. Gavin Lux added to the fireworks with a grand slam in the fourth inning, his second home run as a Red and first at Great American Ball Park. Reds pitching was dominant across the 13 innings played, allowing just one run on eight hits.
