The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 6-2 on Saturday night at Great American Ball Park, fueled by a relentless top of the order that reached base 10 times. TJ Friedl drew three walks, and Elly De La Cruz delivered a clutch RBI single to give the Reds a lead they never surrendered. Andrew Abbott continued his All-Star form, tossing six strong innings and allowing just two runs. The bullpen was once again lights out, closing the door with three scoreless frames.
