The Cincinnati Reds fell to the Atlanta Braves 12-11 on Thursday night at Great American Ball Park in a wild back-and-forth contest. Trailing 11-3 in the 8th inning, the Reds mounted a dramatic rally, scoring eight runs to tie the game before ultimately falling just short in the 9th. Ke'Bryan Hayes made his Reds debut and had an eventful night, committing a costly error early but later launching a massive three-run homer for his first hit with the team.
