Starter Nick Lodolo exited early, but the Reds’ bullpen stepped up with a clutch effort to secure the victory. Tyler Stephenson got the scoring started with a solo homer, while newly acquired Ke’Bryan Hayes made a game-changing defensive play that erased the tying run after a successful challenge. The heads-up review proved crucial as the Reds held on late.
