The Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Miami Heat 106-89 as Philly dropped to 2-11 on the season, tying them for the worst record in the NBA. Joel Embiid played 31 minutes despite an illness that kept his status as “doubtful” until just before tip off tonight. The 76ers opened a 19 point lead in the 2nd quarter, but then the wheels came off. Miami went on a 19-4 run that helped them pull to within three by half-time.
