WordPress pro Alex Standiford joins us in this episode of the LMScast podcast to discuss how he runs an agency, teaches plugin development, and homesteads debt free from his RV in this episode of the LMScast podcast hosted by Chris Badgett from LifterLMS. Alex is coming to us from his new homestead in New Mexico. He's the creator of a WordPress plugin development course at wpdev.academy. Alex has been around the WordPress community for a long time, and he’s also an expert at AffiliateWP.
Alex shares his journey of working an in-person job to becoming a digital nomad, where he’s now living in a camper with his wife on their property that they’ll be building out as he makes money running his digital agency doing plugin development and running his online course teaching others how they can do the same.
The idea of distributed work and working remotely had just been so thoroughly ingrained into the DNA of WordPress, and that really spoke to Alex. He started going to WordCamps and started doing plugin development, and really tapping into WordPress to eventually build his course teaching others how to develop plugins.
