Listen "89 | Satan Wants Your Destruction: Are You Fighting Against Him?"
Episode Synopsis
God knows our motives. We must be cautious with them and ask ourselves: Am I living for the praise of man or am I seeking the praise of God? The enemy desires to distract us from God and may even use 'good' things to do so. Acts 12 starts with King Herod Agrippa I persecuting the early church. He kills James, the brother of John, and arrests Peter, planning to execute him after Passover. The church prays earnestly for Peter, and miraculously, an angel frees him from prison, showing God's power to rescue His people. Later, Herod faces divine judgment. After Peter's escape, Herod executes the guards and, during a public speech, accepts praise as a god. An angel strikes him down, and he dies, eaten by worms. Despite these challenges, God's message continues to spread, highlighting that nothing can stop His plans.
