Episode Synopsis

Amy Tipton is a New York Times Best Selling Agent turned editor and owns and operates Feral Girl Books.  Feral Girl books is an all-inclusive editing service that is committed to supporting marginalized authors and diverse storytelling.
Her passion to develop female writers through the collaborative process shines through as well as her desire to create a life in the literary world that she actually enjoys.
She starts us out by sharing her story of suffering a stroke at age 30 just as she was starting her career as an agent in the literary world.  It impacted her speech and her ability to walk but she shares how it did not distract her from carving out her own place in the industry.
12 years have passed since the stroke and it still affects her speech and her ability to walk.  But, it is amazing to see the career that she has built and how she continues to look forward to the future on who else she can help in their career.
