Listen "What Does This Mean?"
Episode Synopsis
I’m presently asking the Lord to teach me what Galatians 5:24 means. It reads, “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”
It seems to suggest that we are only truly free from the passions and desires of the flesh when we no longer have to make a decision regarding temptation that comes from the flesh. Why? Because we’ve already made a decision to be dead to it. Thought-suggestions coming from the flesh are then met with a simple nope because there’s nothing in that area left alive to even say maybe. It has been crucified. That’s true freedom. But these are only some initial thoughts. I’m looking to the Lord to teach me more about this so that I can experience what it means.
