This is part 3 of a series of podcasts regarding that in which I suggest we most want to experience peace of mind.
This third one is that we want the peace of mind of always knowing how to be most helpful to everyone we know or meet.
In Acts 20:35 we read that Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  God is therefore pure joy because he is, by nature, pure self-giving helpfulness. Anyone who makes any contact with him is instantly helped in the most essential way possible all things considered. Since we were made in his image and likeness, our spiritual DNA, if you will, is governed in its development by Jesus’ principle. We experience fulness of joy only when our lives are far more about giving than receiving.
But just what is the most helpful thing we can do for anyone we know or meet at any given time? The answer is just a heart’s beat away. It is instantly available to us the moment look to the Lord for his help:

Psalm 32:8 — “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”
Isaiah 41:13 — “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
