Listen "The Greatest Personal Tragedy"
Episode Synopsis
Ephesians 5:15-17 (NIV) — 15 “Be very careful, then, how you live — not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
Perhaps the greatest personal tragedy on earth is to leave this life with our purpose unfulfilled. Next to that may be to know our purpose and yet waste time.
The beginning of the end of living such a tragedy is sacrifice — the sacrifice of a broken and contrite heart over all that’s gone wrong in ones life. But just as importantly, a heart that never gives up relying on God and what he can do to set things right in the lives of those who trust in him.
