We could go a bit further than that because we don’t have to be in the presence of someone else to be kind to them. There is available to us at all times the incredible helpfulness of prayer.  So we could rightly say that every moment is an opportunity to help someone, somewhere by praying for them. Hence the Apostle Paul’s command to “pray continually.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17
So here’s a good resolution: look to fill each day this year with more prayer going up for others than the day before. The opportunities to be kind to others truly are endless.
