In Ephesians 5:10 we read: “Find out what pleases the Lord.”
So what pleases him? Here are some things I found:

Jeremiah 9:24 — “I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight.”
Hebrews 11:6 — “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

Clearly, the more you trust in God and believe what he says, the more faith you have and the more pleasing to God your life will be.
Praying for everyone who comes to your attention pleases God:

1 Timothy 2:1-3 — “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.”
Hebrews 13:16 — “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

And take note of this: since we were created by him and for him, whatever brings God the most joy, happiness, delight, and satisfaction is precisely what will bring you the most joy, happiness, delight, and satisfaction.
So we pray: “May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” ~Hebrews 13:20,21
