Hayden Silas Anhedönia has been creating music under the moniker Ethel Cain since 2010 but only just finally released her debut full-length Preacher’s Daughter in 2022. Honing in on Southern Gothic themes, her music delves into coming to terms with her hyper-religious upbringing which Troy Nelson details in this episode of Live on KEXP before the Tallahassee-bred musician and model performs a gorgeous rendition of three songs from Preacher’s Daughter and one from her 2021 EP Inbred.
