This week, we’re discussing Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by JK Rowling. Harry Potter, an 11 year old boy, discovers something shocking: magic is real, he’s a wizard and he’s famous in the wizarding world for something he has no memory of. He begins school at Hogwarts, where he makes friends quickly, but also realizes that despite vanquishing the dark wizard, Lord Voldemort, as an infant, there are people in his world who would like to see the Dark Lord return, and would do anything to make it happen.
