Listen "Episode #3 Ch. 6, 7 & 8"
Episode Synopsis
As you recall Piscine Molitar Patel was bullied and teased at school. A human tragedy. But he rose above it and made his name Pi. He named himself after the mathematical constant 3.14.
Chapter 6 is in italics and only about 10 lines long, another narrator is describing a scene and a man.
Chapter 7 is introducing the readers to Pi's study of theology (religion) and we meet one of his teachers Mr. Satish Kumar, a biology teacher.
Remember we have also met Mamaji, his swimming teacher.
Chapter 8 is about a dramatic lesson taught and learned by Pi and his brother Ravi's father, as mother stands by.
Enjoy and stay with it! I promise great listening skills, pleasure, and exposure to author tools and vocabulary that describe a great research-based story.
