Casing tek in growing mushrooms is a technique that simulates the ideal environment for growing magic mushrooms in bulk. The difference between buying normal soil and making a casing layer is that the latter uses a certain amount of material to make it an ideal tool for mushroom production.

In general, the casing layer and brain cakes are combined in a large rectangular monotub to get the best performance. Preparation is not difficult since all the items are available at your local garden center or home. The monotub casing tek uses a very similar medium for the jar substrate, but quantity increases.

The entire process of extracting and preparing mushroom spores takes about a month, although depending on the circumstances it may take longer to get fully inoculated.
