Listen "Haiku Competition - Part 3"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode Paschalina talks with Lauren, winner of the third prize in the Haiku competition.Haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables; it consists of three lines of five, seven, and five syllables. Traditionally it evokes images of the natural world. Regarding the latter, we slightly departed from the original form, as the topic of our competition was participants’ experience of learning a language. All entries in our Haiku competition were compiled in a very nice booklet, which can be found here: https://www.learnbaes.ac.uk/images/Pdfs/Haiku_Project_FINAL_PAGE_TRANSITIONS.pdf?fbclid=IwAR2SC9FJUlizw6Oq0UhbQfD6MrmTGw7pg-J_oomKgGcfictPjvXKMhwm25E
