Long Synopsis:Our narrator tells the story of how one foggy night he sets out to post a letter at a pillar box at the end of his street but, colliding with another pedestrian, he takes a detour and enters the wrong house. He's about to sneak back out when he hears a scream and goes to down to the basement to witness the unthinkable.
