Where are you now?This week I grabbed a few of my journals from 10 and 20 years ago. That is how long I have been journaling. All I can say is, look at God. I certainly am not the woman I was in 2006. That woman was sooo foolish. She wasn’t good to herself. She did not have love for herself. She lacked care for herself. She didn’t see how phenomenal she was. Going back to read how far I’ve come from being broken and feeling defeated to having a love for self. Filled with so much joy and happiness. Loving what I see when I look in the mirror. Being the bright light and showing up as my authentic self. Have you ever gone back to read your journals from the past? How much have you grown? Are you still in that holding space? Are you surviving or thriving? How has your relationships changed? Have you said goodbye to the old you? Have old habits died? If you’re not journaling, why not? It’s a great form of therapy and healing. Take pen to paper and just write. You’ll feel soo much better all the more.
