And the way we grow is by who we know: God. The way we come to know God is by reading and studying God's word and becoming deeply rooted and grounded in God's truth.  When we engage with God in this way it isn't just mechanical. This is where we start to deepen our relationship with him. And guess what happens? Intimacy happens! Intimacy creates a deepening of our love for God.  But what if you don't feel this intimacy? How could you study the scriptures as much as you have been and not love God?
