Life Moments . . . Formerly SeniorLife . . . ElderWisdomOur lives are a collection of numerous and continuous moments that structure our life journeys from birth until final transition. The primary objective of this program will be to explore and discuss the wide variety of experiences and insights that have passed through generations and the challenges to continue that transmission of wisdom and insight to younger generations in view of the many stimuli that we all face in today's world. Individuals who have lived before us have acquired experiences and insights into their lives. They have transmitted those insights to those of us younger than them. The cycle of generations is a continuous cycle through life.While we will continue with this basic premise, we hope to include opportunities for discussion, participation, and contribution from wider generational and cultural experiences. Our lives are formed by a mosaic of relationships, interactions, experiences, and growth. Our experiences may range from enthusiasm and joy to trauma and grief. These experiences are part of the foundations upon which we build our lives and the guideposts by which we navigate our pathways.Your host: Ibrahim Siddiq SpurlockBorn and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Ibrahim Siddiq Spurlock currently lives in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Ibrahim's career journey has passed through academic and corporate environments. He has navigated multi-cultural landscapes in life and work. Ibrahim is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, with a B.A. in Music Education. He also has an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from North Carolina State University. His most recent career experience has been in the commercial airline field involved in training development, project management, and corporate development.Ibrahim has decades of training and development experience in different aspects. He has a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (that he should renew in the coming months).
