Today we’re continuing in our Future You sermon series where we’re looking down the road and we're asking ourselves where we want to be a year from now, or 5 years, or 10 years, because there are essential steps we can take today that are going to work to make that Future You a reality. And the essential step we’re going to be thinking about today is LETTING GO.
We spend a lot of time in Christian circles talking about the things we need to add to our lives to enrich them and to become more like Jesus, and that’s really important. There are actions we should live out and attitudes we should embrace and attributes we should develop. But if you are going to become the best Future You possible, you’re also going to need to learn the skill of letting go. Why? That's what our sermon today will answer!
