Listen "Sleep and Circadian Rhythm in Health and Disease"
Episode Synopsis
Sleep impacts health in more ways that we can count. We are evolved to sleep in a circadian rhythm that is entrained with the light and dark cycles of the sun. When we break from our evolutionary programming, we may develop circadian rhythm dysfunction. This can contribute to immune system issues, liver and metabolic issues, and/or gut microbiome disturbance (aka dysbiosis) to name a few.
