Macinley Butson is an inventor and scientist who devotes herself to improving the world through STEM. Macinley was awarded Young Australian of the Year in 2018 for her work on inventing a radiation shield for the treatment of breast cancer. In this ep she shares how she managed to overcome her fear of public speaking as well as what she's working on now, on top of studying at uni, to enable less privileged students to pursue successful careers in STEM.
