Hildegard Koenig (also known as Hilde) is a remarkable human being. A 1st generation immigrant of Mexican and German parents, she is a survivor of domestic abuse, suicide, depression and anxiety. In spite of every challenge she's faced, Hilde has not only risen above them but has dedicated her life to advocating for those facing some of life's greatest challenges. In part 1 of this interview, Bill sits with Hilde and learns about her background, how she became an advocate and what Ink Against Cancer is doing to help families along the Wasatch Front. Enjoy!
