Episode Synopsis

Get to know your host! Meet Emily! In this episode, Emily shares how her experience with gut health, inflammation, skin allergies, cystic acne, poor detox and liver health, and more influenced her self esteem and confidence through her early twenties. She outlines how her relationship with nutrition and movement has evolved over the years and offers strategies on how you can do the same. Emily discusses her journey into the mental health field and how she got started on Instagram. She explores how, in retrospect, she learned so much more about her health and wellness and how she healed her skin without even realizing she was doing it.

Emily is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and a Certified Dietary Supplement Professional with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Emily is also working towards completing her Functional Nutrition Certification through MindBody Green. Emily owns and operates Whole with Emily LLC, wherein she works with clients one on one within the space of holistic wellness, to support optimal physical and mental health. She believes that true health and feeling better means examining the intersection between physical and mental health and look at one's experience through this lens. Integration of nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management and self care, gut health, mindset and more is the formula for a better quality life. Emily marries mindset with behavioral change in order to create the ultimate mind body connection and promote sustained change and a healthful balance within her work with clients.
