This weekend, we are honored to welcome Pastor Steve Dighton as our guest speaker. Pastor Steve served as senior pastor at LBC for 25 years before retiring, and he continues to preach and inspire many.

Galatians Chapter 6 is an insightful passage that explores themes like supporting one another, restoring a wayward brother, and remaining faithful. Each day presents us with the opportunity to sow to the Spirit and be instruments for His glory. With His help and guidance, we can avoid sowing to our flesh and instead live in accordance with His will.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.” — Galatians 6:7-10
