Hi everyone, I realised that I uploaded a poem as a first episode without introducing myself or my podcast. I'm Lekha Warrior and I'm a blogger, writer and poet. On here I plan amongst other things,  to read out the fictional stories that I pen down, my childhood anecdotes, different kinds of poetry  and also articles that I have written on inspirational people. All these are mostly on my blog  'Lekhawrites.blogspot.com' or my Insta handle lekhawarrior. My daughters, friends and family members sometimes say that they don't have the time to read. They requested me to do this, so here I am. Each time I reach out to you, a reader or a new listener, my heart fills with happiness. I'm doing something I really love now and something that has forced me to get out of my comfort zone and reinvent myself. I hope my stories make you laugh, think, inspire or motivate you and mostly allow you to dream. We are stuck in a world that craves 'authenticity' but this world has lost what it is to be vulnerable and real. Since our childhood is when we were the most raw and real, my stories take you through some of those beautiful moments of my life. My poems allow you to dream, rhyme out loud and let in the random and mundane as well as the deep and the mysterious aspects of our lives and rejoice in them. My fiction explores what makes people tick and how every lapse of time can be defined by some emotion. The people who motivate me speak for themselves, their energy is contagious and makes us really project ourselves doing those amazing feats or living those tremendous highs. Celebrate the life you have by letting yourself off the hook once in a while and doing something that gives you nothing necessarily but joy. You don't always have to be productive and achieving. Getting bored can make you do things that you love, like me writing and now reading my prose and poetry.
