Unfortunately, the chasm between our Christian life on a Sunday and our careers during the week has only grown in the last few years. This fracture occurred partly because of a dramatic rise in hostility towards Christianity, but perhaps also because our method was limited or shortsighted. Because of the perceived resistance, we retreated, opting for dramatic compartmentalization. But what if, rather than separate the two, we begin to look at uniting them in a way that is more effective than the methods we have used in the past? What if the environment is primed for followers of Jesus to have an impact outside the walls of the church?
