Kendall and Vincent talk about how the disciples are so surprised that Jesus rises from the dead even though the Gospels say Jesus repeatedly told them about it beforehand. It can be easy to look down on the disciples, but then we also need to call to remembrance the words that God has spoken to us. We too often easily forget what God has clearly said to us including his word of both law and gospel.
