Yanely is a proud product of NYC! She was born and raised in Brooklyn to Dominican immigrant parents. She graduated from Brown University in 2011 and spent a few years teaching elementary school until she had a financial transformation where she paid off $20,000 of credit card debt and began investing and building wealth. In 2015, she began making YouTube videos about personal finance because she didn’t see it anywhere in the school curriculum and now she works full time on getting laws passed in different states so the next generation does get financial literacy in school.
