From its jaw-dropping visuals best experienced in IMAX to its surprisingly heartfelt story, this film delivers more than just fast cars and big crashes. It’s packed with genuine moments of teamwork, camaraderie and a few laugh-out-loud lines which I enjoyed for what it was.Yes, the movie leans into the cheese and Hollywood drama, but it also pays real tribute to the spirit of racing in places, Sonny Hayes being a lot more of a deep character than you think and you actually CARE about the team. The Daytona opener is especially a true highlight and a perfect showcase of what the movie can be!
