Following a smear test, Eileen Rushe had cell abnormalities, however, there were failures in her subsequent treatment which resulted in a cervical cancer diagnoses in late 2018. We spoke with Eileen on Late Lunch about her situation as she began treatment in January 2019 and this incredible woman joined us subsequently from time to time to speak about the highs and lows of her cancer journey. Our final conversation was just over a month ago as sadly Eileen passed away in recent days.
