This is week two of our series Red Letters. Today we discuss the truth of receiving real rest. There is a plan offered for people to have a rest that impacts our souls and allows our burdens to be light. Yet as people we still find ourselves with such a tiredness throughout our days. This is a common result because even if we try to go to God for rest we still hold onto the weight of the other things we choose not to let go of. We find ourselves taking God's plan but then adding on and adding on making it harder to carry out then the plan was intended for us to live out. Discover with us a rest found in Jesus that truly restores. We read over scriptures in Matthew 11:28-30, Matthew 12:1-14, and Mark 2:27-28.
