Episode Synopsis
This assignment is in partial fulfillment of the coursework required for the Desktop Layout Publisher Programme. It is a group assignment worth 50 marks.
As the supervisor of your design company, you need to arrange an urgent meeting to update the staff on the safety procedures related to COVID19 health requirements. There will also be a presentation by a speaker from the Ministry of Health.
• Draft a MEMO to all staff announcing the time, location and purpose of this mandatory meeting.
• Draft an AGENDA outlining the topics, duration and relevant details to be covered during this urgent meeting.
• In groups to be determined by your instructor roleplay a typical workplace meeting lasting about ten (10) minutes. The meeting should include the following participants and scenarios:
• a. A meeting host to facilitate and control all activities during the meeting.
• b. At least one (1) additional presenter of a topic during the meeting.
• c. Staff members to participate in the meeting, ask questions, be inattentive, disruptive etc.
