There are moments in life in which we are faced with a critical decision of whether to stay in our current state or move forward into a new future that is filled with both potential risk and significant reward. The choice we make determines how significant a life we lead. Nearly 3,500 years ago Moses and the people of Israel were faced with the same decision: to stay in Egypt where they were in the familiar land and condition of slavery or to move out of Egypt to a land of promise that God said they would enter. In this series, we will look at the life of Moses and the people of Israel, how they wrestled with this decision, decided to move forward, and experienced the lessons of moving forward and how they can help us learn how to move forward in our own lives. With all that is going on in our world today, we have to decide whether we will move forward and how we should do it so that we enter our own promised land. And the story of the Exodus will help provide us with the courage and the strategy to do it well!
