Listen "Superstitions From Around the World"
Episode Synopsis
To quote our beloved Stevie Wonder, "When you believe in things that you don't understand then you suffer, superstition ain't the way!"
But what if you grew up with these superstitions and old wives tales that were for your own good or were meant to protect you from danger?
In this week's episode, Lynn shares a list of superstitions from around the globe - some make sense, many are silly, and a few are just downright morbid. Listen as Leanna, Ana, and Lynn discuss superstitions they were taught growing up, including some they still can't help but follow today:
Do you know who will come visit when you sing at the table or whistle in bed?
What does Lynn's mom say will happen to your hands if you eat duck?
Does your culture share similar superstitions with Ana's about protecting babies from mal de ojo?
Let us know about superstitions you still believe in on the episode post on IG @ladiesinprogresspodcast!
