Sean Westerlund led the Bryn Athyn College men's basketball team to its first-ever United East Conference title and Division III NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025. The Lion's accomplished this feat in Westerlund's fifth year as head coach. Prior to coming to Bryn Athyn, Westerlund served as an assistant at Hood College and head varsity boy’s basketball coach at Harford Christian High School in Maryland. Shortly after this interview was recorded, Bryn Athyn announced it was discontinuing all athletic programs at the end of the current academic year.
