Joe Fields is a South Jersey native who played his college football at Widener University. After an outstanding college career, he was drafted in the 14th round by the New York Jets in 1975 and went on to enjoy a 14-year NFL career, spending 13 of those seasons with the Jets and becoming an elite offensive lineman.
