Kelsey Koelzer is the head women’s ice hockey coach at Division III Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania and one of the few Black women in the hockey world. She started the Arcadia program from scratch in late 2019 and by the 2022-23 season, they had already achieved a winning record. Prior to coaching, Koelzer, a Horsham native and Hatboro-Horsham High School grad, was a star player at Princeton University. In Episode #191 of “1-on-1 with Matt Leon,” Matt talks with Koelzer about her life in hockey.
