Listen "Suspects chase man down South Street, fire more than two dozen shots"
Episode Synopsis
Two gunmen chased down and shot a man near South Street Wednesday night. It happened around 11 p.m. near Second and Brainbridge streets. Chief inspector Scott Small said the victim, a 25-year-old man, had just left a hookah lounge.
“As soon as he exited the property, two males who were parked in a black sedan got out of that vehicle and began firing shots at the victim,” he said.
The victim ran, and they chased him toward South Street, firing at least 25 shots. He was hit once in the leg. The shooters got back into a black Honda and took off. Police took the victim to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
